Hello,
I am Elona, an Architect based in Tirana. The idea of Hosting was inspired by my own travels. So far I have enjoyed how travelers have brought to my home pieces of their culture, of their experiences and had some funny stories to share. :)
Whenever possible I like to welcome my guests in person and give them my recommendation about the city, or leave them to their privacy if they please.

**About the property**
Very well located apartment, 3d floor with elevator, in the area of the City center (3 min walking distance from the New Bazaar, 10 min walking distance from Skanderbeg’s square). Living room with open kitchen and a balcony. Sleeping room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Private Bathroom.
WIFI, TV, air conditioning for a comfortable stay. Suitable for up to 3 people. Perfect for small families/couples/friends travelling together.
The area is well served by public transport.

About the Area
We are in the most characteristic and famous area of the Capital, within walking distance from the New Bazaar and Skanderbeg's Square.
In 200 m range you can find supermarkets, coffee shops, bars, barber shops, hair salons, dry cleaning, pharmacy and restaurants.
The apartment is part of a rather new building and it is situated on a narrow, secondary one-way and therefore very comfortable and quiet.
Getting around
The area is well served by public transport, and allows you to easily and quickly reach all points of interest in Tirana.
All bus stations are located around Tirana Center. The ticket is 40 leke. You can find public bus from 6 AM-11 PM.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
We have a few rules which we’d like to let you know about. We know rules are boring, but we’d really appreciate if you could have a quick read through.
• Please take off shoes at the entry
Taking shoes off before entering your apartment will help reduce toxins and harmful substances from entering the house, so please leave your shoes at the entry.
• Noise and The Neighborhood
Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the neighbors – especially during nighttime hours (e.g. 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM), and upon arrival and departure. Also Parties/events are not allowed.
• No Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment. However you can smoke in the balcony as long as Cigarette butts are disposed of properly in the ashtray provided.
Failure to do so will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
• Please clean up dishes
If you use any dishes during your stay, we would be grateful if you would clean them. This would be of great help
• Number of guests
Ensure total guests matches that on your booking. If you have booked the wrong amount of people, please let me know ASAP and we can add them to the guest list.
• Check Out is 11am
Our cleaner will arrive shortly after 11am to clean the property. If you need more time, no problem, just inform us the day before the check-out.
• Lights & Heating
We would really appreciate it if you could turn off all the lights and heating when you leave the apartment each day and upon checking out.
• Damage Deposit
For short term rentals the damage deposit is 50 euro.
For Longer stays (4 weeks or longer) the damage deposit is 100 euro.
The Damage Deposit will be refunded the day of check out after a quick inspection of the property.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
