We live in Lalor 15kms from the CBD. Home sits on a split block, it has three bedrooms, small backyard and a very long driveway. We are a family of three, with a small child. We are less than 2kms from RMIT University Bundoora Campus and 4km from Latrobe University Bundoora, close to public transport, and 40mins by train to Melbourne CBD. 10 mins to Tullamarine International Airport by car. We are a quick 5 minute walk to the local shopping mall, where you will find a supermarket, take away shops, pharmacy, post office, computer repair shop & deli. Room for rent has a desk, double bed, double wardrobe and double mirror. My wife works as a child care worker at Melbourne University and I run a gardening business. I love to cook, as my previous job for 15 years was a chef, so expect a very nice breakfast each morning plus bakery treats from time to time. I'm always cooking in the kitchen on my days off. We offer free guidance to guests getting to know the area, public transport etc & if required can organise pickup/drop off at airport. There are plenty of open spaces to explore nearby and plenty of shops and discount stores.

About the Area
Our Home is located in the Northern Suburbs, 14 kilometres from the CBD or 40 minutes by train, 10 minutes to the airport. Bus stop is 2 minutes walk, train station 30 mins walk or 10 minutes by bus. There is a large shopping mall nearby with discount cloth stores, supermarkets, pharmacy, post office, deli, coffee shops & cafes. The area has plenty of parks and walking tracks

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
