Nice room on the ground floor, wi-fi, washer (cold water) and dryer provided, in my big house in the heart of Donnacona in the county of Portneuf. We share the house with a cat and a very well-bred dog. The house is close to shops, but also the King's Road, the forest, the river, the dock and the beautiful and very intimate beach. The Jacques-Cartier River and woodlands are just a few steps away. The sunsets and the strolls on the edge of the water in natural environment over km are magnificent and free here. The house is located more or less 20 minutes from Quebec City, in a quiet street close to all accommodations. I am a photographer and I have a large workshop in a building behind the house that can also be shared during a creative project based on compatibility for a fee. Visual arts workshops and optional photography. Non-smokers and lovers the animals are essential.

About the Area
The house is in the heart of the small town of Donnacona (8,000 inhabitants) near the shops, but also the river, the dock and the beautiful and very intimate beach. The Jacques-Cartier River and woodlands are just a few steps away. The sunsets are beautiful and free here. You can buy your bread and pastries or go buy some local produce or take a small meal or coffee at the County Epicière a few steps from home. The house is located more or less 20 minutes from the Henri IV highway, in a quiet street with private parking very close to all accommodations.

House Rules
The room will be clean on your arrival and available between 8h and 13h for the rental of a single day, The curfew and 23h and the kitchen available until 21h. A storage space for your food will be allocated and the bathroom is shared with the tenant of another room.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
