We are a conservative Christian family of 2. My mother is 62 years old and I am a 33-year-old male. We follow Jesus, and that is a great part of our life. I am Canadian citizen, originally from Brazil. I’ve lived for over 8 years in the west coast before moving here.
We are a caring and welcoming family. We go to church every Sunday, and you will be more than welcome to come if you want. (More about us at the end of this ad.)
We are not just renting a room. You will be treated as our family member. We offer kind hospitality and will also give you space and support throughout your stay.
We live in a very nice, quiet, friendly and safe neighbourhood, Erindale, in Mississauga, very close to many amenities.
We have a lovely furnished basement private room available.

**More About us:**
We tend to be homebody people but we do enjoy going out for lunch, church, or other fun activities. We also like to listen to worship music and pray. The Chosen is our favourite TV show. Keep in mind, we’d like to host a prayer meeting group once a week and sometimes we have guests over for lunch or dinner. You will be welcome to join us in any of those activities.
My mother: She is a pastor and a retired accountant. She is also a Missionary and has traveled to countries like South Africa, Gambia, Haiti, and the United States as such. She loves to cook, loves to pray, and loves to help people. She is a great mother; She is also studying hard to improve her English.
Me: I am a Solutions Architect and work from home. I am also a very creative person, a somewhat geek and a prophetic person (that means a person that fosters a close relationship with God and loves to hear His voice). I like reading, board games, working out, and enjoy hanging out with friends sometimes. A fun fact is that I am learning how to play guitar.

- No guest (unless explicitly authorized beforehand)

- Clean what you used
- Close what you open (lights and doors).
- Clean up your room and bathroom bi-weekly.
- Tools and products shall be provided.
- Avoid strong perfumes.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
