Blue Coyote Farm is located in the spectacular Selkirk Mountains in the West Kootenay Region of British Columbia, Canada. We are a working llama & horse farm on a 50 acre parcel along side the Salmo River. There are mountain & valley vistas with private pebble and sand beaches, hiking trails and the best outdoor activities BC has to offer right at your door. You may have opportunity to view some of the abundant wildlife in the area including: white tail & mule deer, elk, moose, black bear, beaver, mountain caribou, rocky mountain big horn sheep, coyote, bob cat and more! Activities Nearby: Salmo Ski Hill (0.5kms), Whitewater Ski (20kms) and Big Red Mountain Ski (35kms), Heli-skiing, Hiking, ATV, Fishing, Golf, Horseback Ride, Bicycle, Motorcycle, Snowmobile, River Raft. Cities and Towns Nearby: Salmo, Nelson, Trail, Rossland, Castlegar, Creston, USA Border (12kms).
Blue Coyote offers a private entrance luxury farmhouse condo complete with woodstove, full kitchen, 4 piece bath, living & dining area, balcony overlooking the farm and mountains, washer & dryer, satellite tv, wireless internet, bar-b-que and fire pit for outdoor use.

About the Area
Blue Coyote is located on the Salmo side of the Kootenay (Salmo-Creston) Pass on Hwy 3. Coming from the West (Castlegar), after passing the cut off for Salmo and Nelson, we are 1 km past the overhead highways condition sign for the Kootenay Pass on the left.

Meals

House Rules
Smoking - Blue Coyote Farm is a 100% smoke free environment in or around any farm buildings, dwellings or livestock. Smoking is only permitted 100 meters away from any structure or livestock. Be aware of designated areas and be sure to use cigarette disposal containers. Never leave a cigarette butt or filter on the ground. If you smoke inside any of the buildings there is a $500 fine.
Security - You will receive a door code for your entrance. Be sure your accommodations are locked at all times even when you are enjoying the grounds at Blue Coyote or away form the farm.
Pets - Are not allowed inside the accommodations. Provisions can be made for pet stay, please ask for details.
Damages - You will be asked to sign a damages and smoking waiver. You will be held accountable for all and any damages to the premises or property.

Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
