• Be mindful of energy conservation and recycling
• Keep your showers minimal (not long)
• We do the laundry on weekend (A hamper is provided in your room). Laundry taken down on Friday night or if full earlier; a basket will be provided for you in basement for your clothing. I would be happy to accommodate any washing earlier in the week. We have no problem with you doing your own laundry if you wish.

If you choose to have a friend come over we would love to meet them. As such we would like to be home during these visits.

Staying at Helen mom & Dimitri dad's homestay is an unforgettable memory and experience in my life. If you want to stay at homestay, no need to worry! They will do their best to help you at anytime. Detailed information, information about sightseeing , I was able to live comfortably during my stay, with meals always made with love, cleaning and laundry with love, information about language schools, public transportation information, etc. It was also safe and quiet, so it was great for taking walks. All the other students staying homesay were friendly and kind. I met a precious friend there that I would like to continue a lifelong relationship with. You can feel the comfortable atmosphere and the house is cozy and warm. The room is also neat. It was my greatest luck to stay with Helen mom and Dimitri dad's homestay. They Always said good things to me. I was able to get the advice, encouragement, and feel the warmth of the family. I promised myself that I would definitely visit this homestay again! if you want to stay here, you can have the best experience. I will never forget the stories I shared with Helen mom and Dimitri dad. It helped me gain self-esteem and confidence. They also taught me about life. I am happy to be a part of their journey through life. Thank you for everything! Thank you for making me feel like a member of the family. Not say goodbye, just see you again! -Sending love from Korea,ahreum-

Had an amazing stay with Helen. She has a lovely home and was so sweet and welcoming to me for my short stay. The room was cozy and better than I could imagine, and the neighbourhood is clean and quiet. Would love to stay at her place again if I ever visit toronto again!

Even though we only stayed with Helen for 3 nights, we felt right at home. She gave us a very warm welcome and took us directly in her colorful world. The room was very cozy, tidy and very well equipped with recommendations for what to do in the area. Helen is a person with a lot of positive energy that she loves to share with her guests. We really enjoyed the movie night and the late night talks with her. We felt very comfortable with Helen and her husband and would come back anytime.

My room was very cozy and warm! The house was always clean, including the kitchen, bathroom, and living room. Laundry was done for me once a week and my room was cleaned up for me weekly as well.
They are such a wonderful family with a welcoming and friendly presence. I had three other roomies, all girls from other countries at the time. I loved that I got to make new friendships! We would sometimes have movie nights together or go out and explore the city, which was lots of fun. Great homestay if you enjoy stimulating conversation as well as privacy.
One thing to keep in mind is that you cannot use the stove so you can either purchase your meals outside or they offer you three meals a day for an additional cost. If you choose this option, breakfast includes cereal, toast, bagels, coffee, juice, and milk. For lunch, you get a sandwich and for dinner, you get a variety of options depending on the day, such as soups, kinds of pasta, chicken, veggies, and salads.
The nearest TTC is a short 7 min walk from the house; the neighborhood is friendly and safe. Walmart, which is located on Eglinton Ave, is only a 20 min bus ride from here. On that same street, you'll find a Cineplex, Michael's, Costco, Metro, Dollarama, Staples, Winners, and the Shopping Centre. You can also find plenty of small restaurants within walking distance of the house. Downtown Toronto is about an hour away using the TTC or a 20-25 min uber ride.
Excellent location and family! Thank you so much for a lovely stay :)
