We are a family of five that live a few houses down from my parents who live in this house. I Tanya do the cooking and provide lunches...my parents have dinner with you or sometimes you will come to our house. There is professional cleaning and laundry done for you once a week. Breakfast daily... And every so often I make fresh pancakes or omlet or waffles...etc. we love the company so if you are interested in talking we are the family for you!!! This is a FULL BOARD which means breakfast & dinner for 1500$ and option of packed lunch for extra. free high speed wifi...fresh linens every 10 days... Garbage is removed regularly... Washrooms are kept in very good manner. There is air conditioning... And hardwood flooring throughout house. 3 washrooms at your disposal. Meals are supplied 6 days a week. 1200$ is for no breakfast.

Our home is located in a quiet pocket... Doesn't even feel like a big city...but you only need to walk a minute to the nearest bus stop and then it's only 3 minute bus ride to the convenient Lawrence west subway station. 20min to downtown. Very close to Yorkdale mall... Lawrence square and many shops on orfus road.

One quick shower a day... No smoking inside home... There is a beautiful park 1 minute away... And another 3 minutes away with an outdoor public pool... Our neighbourhood is super safe and beautiful to walk through...you will love staying with us! NO visitors are allowed unless agreed with me beforehand. We are NOT responsible for any lost goods. You have a lock on your door.Always take care of your belongings.

I spent great time with Tanya’s family and also lots of students from all over the world.
Tanya served us great dinner, did our laundries, and helped us keeping the room clean.
You don’t need to worry about every dinner and other chores, instead, you can spend time talking with other countries people!

Nice homestay overall, you get to interact with foreigner students so english can be easily improved and practiced. The house itself is spacious, clean and organized. Cleaning by a third person is done on a regular basis. Location is nice, close to Yorkdale and Lawrence Allen Centre, also to the subway station. Quiet and calm neighbourhood. Hosts are kind and care about hospitality. Would recommended

Tanya's family are amazing people! I loved to be there!
Tanya is an incredible person, she was so respectful with me, always worried about my accommodation and details all the time.
The place is in the perfect location, close to the bus station, gym, malls, restaurants, amongst others.

In my opinion, this is a great place to stay in Canada and improves your English because there are some other international students and the host family can always help you when you have some issues or questions.

It's a good place to start your journey in Canada. The family is friendly. You can chit-chat, ask questions, and understand how locals solve problems. Rooms and furniture are all prepared and the location of the house is good enough. You may get to know housemates from different countries and play with them too.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
