My husband and I already host International students through the University of Winnipeg, but we have students sometimes but not always so we thought we could try another source to have students more often. We have 3 little Chihuahuas and its just my husband and I. We are very home body people ,not party people we stay at home a lot, mostly quiet. We have 2 open bedrooms and a student bathroom. Breakfast food supplied, we will supply three meals but full asking price of $40.00 a day is required,if just breakfast it can be negotiated.We are bout a 15 minute ride to The University of Winnipeg, and a 5 minute bus ride to a Major shopping mall and theatre. We are located in an area called St.James.We are in a very nice part of Winnipeg and close to many great things including our Park and Zoo.

About the Area
Our house is located close to many amenities, shopping. Theatre and restaurants parks and very close to the airport. The bus stop is about a 2 minute walk and the bus takes you right downtown. We are located in a suburb of Winnipeg, called St. James, it is a lovely and safe area and we live on a quiet street.

Meals

House Rules
I have a copy of house rules in each of the bedrooms and they are basic rules ,keep room clean and Laundry once a week clean up after yourself in the kitchen no loud noise after 10:oo pm, No Smoking ,LOck doors when leaving etc. This is an example.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
