Casa Lily is located in the Alamar neighborhood of Havana, 10 min by car from the beautiful beaches of East Havana. A few meters and a few minutes walk are the coast and the reefs of the Caribbean Sea, ideal for contemplative diving, enjoy the seabed, the beach, tranquility and relax or skateboarding. We offer breakfasts, dinners prepared with love!

Casa Lily is located in the neighborhood of Alamar where the beautiful beaches of East Havana begin. Thanks to its privileged location you can access in a little time (2 minutes) to the nearest beach called Playa de los Rusos and it is a reef and beautiful seabed and to Cojímar. In Cojímar there are excellent restaurants and the Ernest Hemingway needle fishing tournament is held annually. And in 5 or 10 minutes by car you can lie down at any of the nearby sandy beaches such as Bacuranao, El Mégano, Guanabo, Santa Maria, Brisas del Mar and others. On the other side 10 minutes from Old Havana, Vedado.
I like to be honest with my guests. If your interest is to make a trip of social immersion, to really know how Cubans live, because this is a place that can serve you for that. I do not recommend it for people who are not willing to open themselves culturally to a new, different experience, tailored to the reality of Cuba today, its unique reality. If you are looking for a place in the first world for a low price this is not your place.
Casa Lily is a typical apartment from the 70s renovated, bright, cozy, very fresh and comfortable. Perfect for couples, families with children and friends traveling together. Equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay either a weekend or a month. It has two rooms with double beds, one with air conditioning and one with fan, shower with hot water, electricity 110 and 220 V. There is a very sunny balcony where you can enjoy a coffee in the early morning or relax with a drink end of the day. I especially appreciate waking up with the singing of the birds in a natural environment or the nice cries and having a good coffee enjoying the sea views. You can really enjoy the intensity of the colors, the tranquility, the sunset, the trees around. The area of this neighborhood of Alamar is especially quiet.
The house is surrounded by many services that will facilitate your stay as markets, shops, banks, exchange houses, a medical center, routes to take taxis and buses, parks with Wi-Fi access, restaurants, cafes, but above all a natural environment and 2 minutes from the mas. By staying in our house you can enjoy the privacy of the building and at the same time know the daily life of the city.

- Extra cleanings
- Transfers of collection and arrival at the airport that we highly recommend using to avoid public transport if you wish. Prices range from 25 to 30 dollars per trip.
- Coordination of old car rides to make routes through the city and trips to the famous beach of Varadero in the province of Matanzas east of the city of Havana and Pinar del Río. The price must be negotiated depending on the distances and the time of use of the car.
I give my guests independence, but I am available if they need me.
I will not be present
At Casa Lily at all times we will be at your disposal. We will also provide you with a folder with our contacts, with a map and all the necessary information about the area. Your hosts are three friends: Lucia, Mercy and Damaso who will gladly receive, guide and assist you in everything you need during your stay.

About the Area
Geographically the neighborhood is located to the east of the urban center, 10 minutes by taxi from Old Havana or Vedado or East Beaches, and 30 minutes from the airport. The area of this neighborhood of Alamar is especially quiet. It is a typical havana neighborhood but an important part of our recent history.

CUBAN IMMIGRATION LAW STIPULATES NO VISITORS IN A RENTAL HOUSE, IF YOU VIOLATE THIS LAW WE CAN NOT HELP YOU / YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER THE HOUSE OF VISITS. IF YOU ARE LOCAL FRIENDS, PLEASE VISIT THEM AT YOUR HOME. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS VISITORS ALLOWED TO ENTER OURSELVES. THE CUBAN IMMIGRATION LAW PROVIDES THAT NO VISIT MAY BE IN THE RENTAL HOUSE, IF THIS LAW IS BROUGHT WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP YOU

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
