Come meet a less touristic Cuba´s side.
Live in an Art Deco apartment in Central Havana, a stone’s throw from the famous "Malecon", restaurants, cosy modern top bars, theaters, cinemas, many transport options, main avenues, "Callejón de Hamel", University of Havana -and up close to the Cuban people.
Combine your accommodation with excursions by car, talks about Cuban culture and current affairs, creole food, dancing and cooking lessons, and tours off the beaten track -to discover Cuba from the inside...
By living our daily lives, you will discover the reality of being a Cuban. Dance, walk barefoot, shout from the balcony, invent a recipe, cook, listen the neighbor´s music, speak up, gossip and learn our jargon. Get lost in the jaw-dropping architecture and take part in Cuban rituals. Visit the “Bodega” with the ration card, catch a local bus and come see the island that most visitors don’t see.
Guests may also access balcony, living room, hall and corridor, dining room, Per request and extra cost, it´s my pleasure to provide guided tours showing you Havana through my eyes, laundry service, breakfast and dinner, always with a Cuban touch ;-). And of course, can´t miss complimentary cold water and exquisite Cuban coffee.
You will be right in the center of Havana, very close to some of the main avenues. There are many transport options to go directly to different places.
If you like walking, you can arrive to Old Havana in 25-30 minutes. If you prefer buses, there are different routes available. And of course, the legendary classic American cars from 50´s are available as shared taxis two blocks from home.

About the Area
My house is located 5 minutes from University of Havana and "Coppelia", two blocks from "Malecon" and main avenues, nearby bars, restaurants, theaters, cinemas, "Callejón de Hamel" and other interesting places. Walking distance to Old Havana and New Havana (Vedado). We are just in the center!

House Rules
Dear guests, the space I´m offering to you is my temple and yours as well so long as you love it, take care of it and embrace it as if you were I. Therefore, in order to make sure that your stay will be safe, comfortable and smoothly, please let´s keep in mind some important cohabitation habits.
Communication is essential, so please, let me know in advance whether you have any special requirement, as well as your arrival time (or flight details in case you wish to be picked up at airport). Otherwise, given the case that notification is not provided, I may not be at home by the time you arrive.
Liability:
You are liable for damage or loss that your behaviour causes to the equipment, property or host. At the same time you agree to indemnify or pay (see inventory) the amount reasonably required remedying any such damage or loss.
Prices:
The rates are per room per night including two registered guests. If the number of guests exceeds two, or if an extra companion not registered as guest gets permission to spend the night, an additional cost is charged.
Visitors:
For yours and ours safety, if you wish to bring visitors they should carry their identification card – and remain in the living room.
Smoking area:
Balcony or open-air corridor.
Payout:
The house is only responsible for ensuring reservation of paid days. In this sense you have several payment options:
1) The total amount of your stay the first / second day of his arrival,
2) Half of the total on the first day and the rest the day before finalize your stay.
3) Day by day.
If another modality is necessary, we will find a favourable solution for both. Please let me know your preference.
Cancellation:
In the event you decide to leave the house (for reasons beyond our responsibility) before the agreed date, payment of the remaining days is non-refundable. However, in certain situations the house reserves the right to agree the guest, the amount to be reimbursed.

Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
