Our apartment is located in the top floor of a two stories building from the 50s and we have excellent neighbors. There is a green space in the front area of the apartment ideal for breakfasts or simply relax with a coffee or a cold Cuban beer. A cozy living room, a nice dining room, a full equipped kitchen and two bedrooms. Everything at your disposal!!!! We are just a few meters away so you can reach us anytime.
We are a married couple in our early 50s, we are both informatics specialist by training. We love music, architecture, plastic arts, and good movies especially social dramas!! Dorado and I speak basic English so communication won´t be a problem. We love nature and a safe environment. Old American cars that are well preserve in Cuba are admirable. That´s why we have one!!! Our 1956 Chrysler Imperial has a legend behind: I was told that only 12 Chrysler Imperial got to Cuba ever and they were the first cars with electrical adjustment mechanism for both front seats, with dedicated buttons in the front panel (instead of knobs), automatic transmission and others “hi-tech” features. It was so luxurious and impressive that the Cuban President´s wife at the time, Ms. Marta Fernández de Batista wanted to buy one of those and she did. Well…I bought this Chrysler Imperial to someone in Holguin province (North East of Cuba) and he assured me that it is the very same one that belonged to Marta back in 1956!!!!
We like to know people coming from other cultures to learn about those places and at the same time show them why our country is so special and unique.
We have two twin daughters, both studying Economics at University of Havana and they are fluent in English.

About the Area
Our neighborhood is beautiful and safe. Vedado was built during the first 50 years of the XX Century mainly by the Cuban bourgeois so you will see lots of mansions and fancy houses mixed with nice apartment buildings, green spaces, wide avenues and plenty of choices for your night life. We are within a walking distance from the Revolution Square, the Christopher Columbus Cemetery and many new private restaurants and bars.
Our balcony faces 23rd Avenue, the main artery of Vedado, full of cinemas, theatres, good places for lunch, dinner or hang out at night. Public transportation is available on 23 Avenue to go to Old Havana with a 15-20 minutes ride. Vedado is perfect to walk and see its marvels of architecture. We have a currency exchange office and an agro market 300 meters away, and a WiFi spot 400 meters away.
We can help you arranging a trip to other cities like Trinidad, Viñales, Cienfuegos, you name it!! We can also assist you with your transfers out to the airport for a flat rate of 25.00 CUC, please let us know if you need it.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
