I was born and raised in Havana. My husband Teodoro and I have been running our casa particular in conjunction with our daughter Melissa; on occasion renting two rooms in our home and a small apartment to guests from around the world. We enjoy meeting new people and being able to share Cuban culture with them. We speak Spanish, but our daughter Melissa speaks English.

The casa and apartment are a short walk to the University of Havana, Coppelia, Calle 23 (La Rampa) and Havana's famous Malecón. It’s also very close to two Etecsa WiFi hotspots (Hotel Colina and Calle 23). It’s easy to catch an almendron (American taxi) from the parallel street, San Lazaro, to go to Habana Vieja and beyond.
