About the Area
Santa Clara is for locals, but loves tourists.
Santa Clara is the ideal place to know the history of the Cuban Revolution in the western part of Cuba. We call it the city of Che Guevara, because it was here where Che led and won the decisive battle that gave the final victory to the Cuban Revolution.
But Santa Clara is more than the history of Che Guevara: it is a city with a vibrant cultural life that is developed around the Central University Marta Abreu of Las Villas. Live Cuban music of vanguard, theater shows, drag-queens shows, bars and cafés for students… everything around a unique center: the Park Leoncio Vidal.
Amarillo B&B, is exactly in the center of all the interesting things that happen here.
Santa Clara also works as the perfect starting spot to explore the nature in the surroundings: the Hanabanilla lake, the Nicho (natural waterfalls), the beautiful beaches in Cayo Santa María … and we help you to visit these marvels with our service of collective taxis.
Santa Clara has that characteristic calm of the towns of the inner country that you will need after you visit the turbulent Havana; but calm is not a synonymous of boredom: from Amarillo B&B we have designed two local experiences that will take you to a deep understanding of the complex Cuban reality while you have a very good time.

Very beautiful modern casa with large, clean rooms and a wonderful shower. Very friendly and an extensive explanation of Santa Clara! The breakfast was also good.

Lovely place to stay! Very nice people and their service is great, they take the time to explain you all of the place and the city. It's not really a Casa Particulares, but more a hostel, with the same fibe. Which made it a bit more unique for Cuba. We had the room in the front, which made it a bit more noisier with the street. But if that's all... We recommend it for your stay there!

Very nice and clean room with good beds and a nice bathroom. Great breakfast (allthought we did not like the packed sandwich the next day). Free coffee and tea the whole day and WiFi in the room. It's in the city center but still a very quiet place. We had an excellent stay!

We had a pleasent stay in Santa Clara. We where helped very well during our stay. And although it's more like a small run hotel, the owners were available for help, all the time. Nice rooms and good breakfast.

Well located place. Saily has a great eye for design and has good tips. Her lovely employees are the real soul of this homestay. They make you feel like home. It's clean, it's cosy and the food (we had breakfast and dinner) is much better than in the vast majority of Cuban restaurants.

We loved to stay in Sailys Casa. It's very stylisch, clean, modern and located quite in the center of Santa Cara. Parking is in front of the house possible. In the night, there is a man, who takes care for 2 cucs. Saily is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this casa. Thank you Saily!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
