They hardly know of the arrival of a guest and everything is ready. Victoria, 71, arranges every Cuban, trinitarian painting, as only she knows how to do it. His years of experience in working in art galleries in Trinidad gave him knowledge, good taste and wisdom. Zoilo, 73, has shared her life with Victoria and knows how she likes floral arrangements inside the house and plants arranged in such a way as to enrich the home's cozy atmosphere. But this time, not only is this marriage welcomed by the client, but also the fruit of the love between them, their daughter Diana. Together, the three of them look forward to showing tourists a decades-old love story, the beauty of Trinitarian art and services that will always be to their liking.
Cuban apostle Jose Marti said, "there is no better palace than the family home." And how much reason did he have to say it. The Victoria and Zoilo hostel is a family home. Maybe it does not surprise the visitor because, from the outside, it does not seem broad. It hybridizes between other houses and only the presentation plate attracts the gaze of the traveler. When you touch the door, the discovery begins. Furniture and paintings open the way for the customer. On one side the image of guerrilla Che stands out with an explosion of primary colors from the back wall. On the other, Victoria shows off the gifts given to her by Trinidadian and Cienfuegos artists recognized for their exhibitions in New York. The plastic arts of Ariel Broche and Emilio López join the Afro-Cuban ajiaco that is grown in this home.
Two rooms are available to customers. If you dare to visit Cuba with your children, a small bed is available in each room to welcome the sleep of your children. Next to it, there will be a double bed for adults. 
On one side of both rooms you will find the bathrooms, on the other, the curtains will allow light to reach the sun to warn of the beginning of the new day.
In the interior terrace you can consume your breakfast, lunch or dinner while watching the preparation of the dishes by the hand and the good culinary taste of Diana. She has been preparing delicious Creole meals for years in restaurants throughout the city. Sharing as a family is an option that you should not miss. This home is the palace that Victoria, Zoilo and Diana want to offer you.
A tropical juice, refreshing, can be the best option to quench thirst and mitigate fatigue after a long trip. If you wish, Diana will prepare it for you in seconds. Otherwise you can start your experience in Trinidad drinking a typical coffee or red wine from its mountains. The smell of criollo coffee, as we say in Cuba, will spread rapidly throughout the neighborhood.
Then you can request lunch, dinner or breakfast. Your taste will be pleased by the hosts of the home. Both Victoria and Zoilo have experience in serving the client and when we talk about their daughter Diana, she is the best person to prepare a good Cuban meal.
If you want to visit, to know Trinidad you only have to ask for it. At the door of the home you will find the necessary means of transport. If your interest is to learn to dance like Cubans do, immediately the hosts will have a dance teacher for you and you do not have to worry about washing your dirty clothes because you only have to request the service and you will be attended to.
When you meet Victoria, you can only have someone in mind. She looks like a grandmother of those who constantly pamper her grandchildren, or better, it does not seem, it is. The wrinkles of his hands, almost hidden in the dark of his complexion, warn experience in the management and care of the home. Zoilo, for his part, insists on talking with the visitor. Tell him his stories as an electrician and how he met the most beautiful mulatto of Trinidad, that today is his wife. Diana is more jovial. She dedicates all her minutes to please the clients while respecting her privacy. The hosts choose to call tourists, friends and as such offer the best of their home.
Maybe this neighborhood is not like others where the colonial stones receive your steps. But it is, without doubt, a cozy place. Far away from the hustle and bustle, it offers you the familiar, intimate comfort you need to relax on your holidays.
To know Trinidad, a World Heritage city, you can choose the transport you prefer. If you want to walk, the house Victoria and Zoilo is a few meters from one of the colonial squares of the city. But, if you want to live other experiences, you will find with just opening the door bicycles, carriages and taxis at your service. If your adventurous spirit insists on knowing the surroundings of the Museum City of Cuba and its Valley of the Mills, I invite you to opt for the mounts.
