Doña Bárbara's Guesthouse is located near the docks of the Bay of Casilda, in a quiet and relaxing place, just 4 km from Trinidad (World Heritage) and very close to the white sandy beaches of the Ancon peninsula. (6 km).
We are proud to say that we (Bárbara and Juan Carlos) are always available for our clients at any time of the day with personalized service. The house has its own private entrance for clients and parking, 3 standard rooms with private bathroom with hot / cold water 24 hours a day.
Our residence has two terraces suitable for sunbathing and relaxing, one located just outside each room and another an outdoor patio with a restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served.
Our house is an extraordinary place to relax after a busy day in Trinidad or a warm day at the beach. The owners of the guest house: Juan Carlos, Sommelier and Maître d'hôtel with more than 20 years of experience, and Barbara, a graduate of hotel receptionist, are pleasant, kind and friendly people who are always willing to help you in any circumstance . We can organize many activities for you, such as planned trips to the Sugar Mills Valley (World Heritage), the Beaches of the Ancon Peninsula, Topes de Collantes (nature reserve) and the nearby Keys (Iguana Cay, Blanco)
We can also organize Spanish classes, horseback riding, catamaran rides, coral reef snorkeling and guided tours of the main attractions of Trinidad, always doing activities of this type or trusting people of our highest confidence. Dance classes and cocktails, bicycles are available for rent to customers, there is internet service within the residence itself.
Number of rooms that rent: 3 Prices (High and Low Season): High Season 20 CUC; Low Season 18 CUC Months in which the high and low seasons are considered: High season: December-April. Low season: the rest of the months. How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
