September 2017
Very nice house and warm and friendly hosts. Nice private room with air conditioning and bathroom behind the main house onto a courtyard. Lovely breakfast in the courtyard in the morning and any help required for things to do or activities from the hosts, which included an initial tour of Trinidad to show us where to go. We had a home cooked meal one night which was absolutely excellent, can't recommend it more. The hosts also arranged dancing lessons for us in the house. Highly recommended house to stay in.

We stayed for 3 days at Deivy and Dianelys' house. We could not have hoped for a better place to stay in Trinidad.
The house is great, with a lovely backyard, and the AC in the room works perfectly.
The location is ideal, only a quick walk away from the main areas of the city.
Above all, Dianelys, Deivy and their family are the best hosts! They welcomed us very generously and made our stay awesome. Deivy had great recommandations about what to do and explore in Trinidad. Last but not least, he is a great chef. We definitely had the best dinners of our whole trip in Cuba at his house.
Highly recommended!February 2017
Deivy and Dianelys and family were wonderful hosts, and accommodations were as advertised. Also greatly appreciated their loaning me a Spanish-English dictionary during my stay - I'd left mine at home, couldn't buy one in Trinidad and I would't have been able to function with out their generous help. Thank you! - John Moore, Toronto, Canada

Deivy and Dianelys were wonderful hosts, incredibly kind and helpful. My Spanish language skills are limited and Deivy and Dianelys didn't know very much English but with a lot of patience at both sides the communication worked much better than expected.
Deivy is a good cook and you should try at least once to eat at D&D's house. We also enjoyed the full breakfast with a lot of fresh fruits.
The beds were not as comfortable as the rest. The mattresses are ok, but especially sensitive larger people could feel the bedstead in their backs.
Deivy and Dianelys will help you to plan and book excursions, but it doesn't prevent that these guides will try to cheat you sometimes. (Excursions could end somewhere outside and you are brought back only with a additional charge. Taxi what cost 6 CUC one day will cost 10 CUC when you are in a hurry to catch your long distance 'ViAzul' bus.) But this will happen to you every day at the street and it is nothing what D&D are responcible for...August 2016

We stayed with Deivy and Dianelys for 4 nights in late April, early May of 2016 and had a fantastic time. Their hospitality was incredible during out time there. Deivy helped us to get to know the city a little bit and give suggestions for how to spend our time in the area.
The location is ideal, close enough to the historic heart of Trinidad, Plaza Mayor is only a ten minute walk, yet far enough away that the nights are quiet and we could sleep peacefully without a disturbance.
The A/C in the room works great and allowed us to sleep comfortably in the heat of the Cuban nights which was something we were not accustomed to being from Canada, and the bathroom was clean with a plentiful supply of cold and hot water for showers.
Deivy is a fantastic cook and we ate most of our dinners at the house, he would give us some options in the morning and have a delicious meal for us at our convenience. The food was better than almost all of the resturants that we dined at in Cuba and the prices for dinner were more than fair considering the enormous portions that he prepared, we always left the table unable to stomach another bite which is saying something for me specifically since i am 6'7 and 280 lbs, it takes a really big meal to fill me to that point.
Deivy also was extremely helpful in arranging taxi's for us when we took any outings, I would recommend going to the Topes de Collantes national park that is in the area. There are a few really great hikes going up to some beautiful waterfalls with refreshing swimming holes.
When we headed out for a few nights to the neighboring town of La Boca, Deivy also called ahead and set us up at a house that a friend of his operated and we got a similar quality of experience there with the cooking and hospitality.
We didn't speak any Spanish aside from a few basic phrases and Deivy and Dianelys didn't know very much English but I wouldn't let this deter you from staying there. They were very patient with us as we communicated through a Spanish Dictionary and made sure they we understood when they were communicating prices, and information to us.
To sum up our visit in two words i would say "No Problem". Anytime we would ask for anything extra, or for him to arrange anything, or even to help us track down specific places in the city Deivy would always reply with "No Problem" and a smile and help us with whatever we needed.
If you are going to Trinidad I cannot recommend enough that you stay with Deivy and Dianelys, we had a fantastic time and we know you will too.

Deivy and Dianelys were wonderful hosts, incredibly kind and helpful. You feel like you are part of the family but also have the privacy of your own room and a nice courtyard to sit in.
The casa is quiet! a big plus in Cuba and has great air conditioning. The old town is just a five minute walk away. Thankyou D and D!!! Derek and Veronica.
