A hospitable couple. Cozy old house. Quietly. A secluded area away from the road.

Claudin and Yvon are the most lovely and kind people. The bus connections to their place were not always that practical but they were so helpful and made
it work for me so I could get back and forth to Aix-en-Provence daily.
They're garden, the pool and the house are a beautiful place to hang out. ...and quiet. I could always use the kitchen when I needed to cook; the wifi is good. I totally enjoyed staying here!!! A big thanks to both of them. I loved my stay here and would come again for sure.

Sehr liebe Gastgeber! Ich komme gerne wieder!
Merci beaucoup! :)October 2016
Home was very comfortable, we enjoyed the quiet, had the house to ourselves, Claudine was out most days, but if we needed any help her husband was most helpful, with maps and fixing dvd. offering bread and butter some basic supplies when we arrived. We thought it was good value

We had a great experience chez Claudine en Aix en Provence, The location is absolutely beautiful, the accommodation is of a high standard and the hosts are really nice, friendly and most helpful. . Just great!
Homestayers who stay here will need a car and a good map as it is about t 10 k from Aix and note beside any village or shops. The lovely accommodation is beside the family home and is self catering and well equipped. Other guests may be sharing the self catering accommodation at the same time but we did not have that experience . As I had hoped to talk french with the host, self catering meant ww arranged to eat with Claudine on two occasions but I was not sure whether it was appropriate to ask or not!!
I highly recommend it to anyone but don’t forget the car and the good map.

The precious autum days I stood with Claudine and her husband at their place last october were very nice and pleasant. They gave me a very warm welcome and helped me where ever I needed help or information. The room, the house and the garden + surrounding have a nice and peacefull atmosphere - it is really a good place to relax and just to feel fine. I hope to come back to this place soon:) Thank you very much!!!

I stayed with Claudine, Yvon and their family for a week in June and had a wonderful time. As this was my first time travelling alone I was a little apprehensive but the family were so warm and welcoming and I felt very relaxed and comfortable. It is a beautiful, old farmhouse with lots of character and a lovely pool in beautiful surroundings. So calm and peaceful surrounded by nature and the horses on the farm are so friendly. I took some French lessons with Claudine who is a very fine teacher. Merci Claudine. I hired a car and explored the surrounding area. Ariana very kindly lent me her bike and I enjoyed exploring the surrounding area on the bike also. Aix en Provence is about 8 km away and is a very nice town but my favourite was Ventabren which is just 3 km from the farmhouse and a really pretty hilltop village with lots of little paved streets, fab views of the valley and flowers everywhere. A trip to the Luberon region is also highly recommended and is one of the most beautiful regions in France. In particular a trip to Roussillon is recommended which took my breath away with its beauty and charm. And the lavender fields are a sight to behold, don't forget your camera. I look forward to staying with Claudine and family again next year.
