We live in Angers (Maine et Loire) Situated beautifully with the Loire in 2 steps, very touristy French River Heritage listed UNESSCO. Angers is a City That Welcomes 40,000 Students from all over the world, or to learn French, or --other formations.
I will be happy to meet you and know you.

Our house is Located entre two lakes and parks with animals.
You can navigate Among --other fish as well as multiple sports leisure.
I offer a room in the house with a wide window overlooking the garden. You have a shared bathroom and toilet. The room is furnished with a bed, desk and cabinets.
The rent is € 22 per night including breakfast, Internet. You are 150m from the bus to town and universities.
Shops and stadium, swimming pool and parks are nearby.

My stay at Catherine's house was fantastic. She is very welcoming and warm with a big house and garden in the beautiful neighbourhood of Belle-Beille. Th room is very big and clean and the house is located near the centre of town and the university. I have really improved my french during my stay thanks to the help of Catherine and the friendly housemates. I'd love to return one day. Highly recommended.
Mon séjour à la maison de Catherine était fantastique. Elle est très acueillante et chalereuse avec une maison très grande dans le beau quartier de Belle-Beille. La chambre était très grande et propre avec un jardin et se trouve prës du centre ville et de la université. J'ai bien amerlioré mon français pendant le séjour grâce à l'aide de Catherine et le colocs très aimables. Je voudrais retouner un jour. Vivement conseillé.

Je reçois un accueil chaleureux à la maison de Catherine et Tugdual qui est bien située à côté du Lac Maine. Tous le deux sont sympas et aidants et j’ai passé beaucoup de bons moments à la table en bavardant avec eux. Ma chambre propre et spacieuse me permettais à la fois de me reposer bien et étudier.

Catherine and Tugdal are very friendly and welcoming and spent a lot of time and showed real interest in talking to me in French. The room was well-equipped. The house is located just outside the centre of Angers by some beautiful lakes - it is a lovely walk into the city through the park.

A wonderful experience with a wonderful family. Everyone is very helpful in practicing French while being able to speak English when my limited vocabulary failed me. The dinners were wonderful and my stay overall beat all expectations. Angers is the best kept secret in France and it is hard to imagine a place more beautiful and kind. The French spoken here is easy to understand and has no strange accents. While Paris had more monuments and other tourist sites, Angers is a much better place to learn French and to relax and enjoy the countryside and culture. Thank you so much!

This is a wonderful family to stay with. They are very accomodating and friendly and the rooms are all very clean, big and comfortable. The location is good and one can easily walk downttown. There are plenty of things to do in Angers and I had a great experience staying here.

Absolutely excellent. They were very welcoming and friendly on my arrival. Catherine picked me up from the station. Throughout my stay they have made a lot of effort to talk to me in French. The father, Tugdual, has been extremely generous providing me with a French sim card and giving me Le Monde every day. Everything including the ambience, accommodation, quality of food, location is second to none. I fully recommend to anyone interested in staying with a French family to choose this one. I have fully enjoyed my stay and would be tempted to come again if ever France was the destination of my holiday.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
