We live in a forest, 5 minute drive from local village, with a local walking route the GR4 passing to the side of our home. We have an eco- gite with 3 bedrooms, each sleeping 2-3 people, a cabin that sleeps 3/4 and camping space for about 5 tents. We are completely emmersed in nature and 'off the grid'. About the Area
Greolieres is a small classic 'perched' village of the Alpes Maritimes region of Southern France. It is in the Vallee of the Loup ( wolf) and is rich and diverse in flora and fauna. There is rock climbing, paragliding, canyoning, mountain walking, cycling, via ferrata and many more different types of adventures in the vicinity of the village. It is only 45 minute drive from the Meditteranean Sea too!

We compost all kitchen waste, carry our own rubbish off the land, conserve all water usage, use bio washing products as much as possible, conserve electricity. We respect all of the other creatures we share the forest with.

My boyfriend and I loved our time spent here in this beautiful, serene location. This place is wonderful for a really relaxing time as long as you get on board with the rustic living and don't mind creepy crawlies! A wild swimmers paradise as we spent lots of time in the river in the valley, thank you!

We have just had one of our best holidays ever homestaying with Simone and Keith in Greolieres.
We enjoyed peace and tranquility in the beautiful Greolieres forest in a homebuilt wooden cabin in an extremely friendly minimal impact living site.
With solar electricity, source water from the mountains, solar heated showers, compost toilet and swimming pool.
Far from the madding crowd - and yet within easy reach.
We'll be back!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
