Welcome to the north of France ! My husband and I will be happy to host you in our home so that you can discover our nice region, our culture and our language. We live in a large house of over 230 square meters in a nice village called Mons-en-Lannois located 7 kilometers from downtown Laon with its restaurants, train station, shops and many medieval monuments. Center Parcs "Ailette lake" is only 18 km away. Reims cathedral and champagne cellars are only 47 kilometers away, Paris and Dineyland are only 120 kilometers away and the beaches of the Somme Bay are 200 Kilometers away. Our house offers comfortable accommodation in a quiet and pleasant environment. Our guests have 2 large double rooms with toilets and a private bathroom on the first floor. Wi-fi available. A large terrace under a pergola overlooks a beautiful garden and there is a jaccuzi on the terrace if you want to relax.

About the Area
My husband and I live near Laon, which is a nice medieval town . Laon is nicknamed '´crowned mountain'´. There are underground passages and charming old bustling streets. A famous cathedral,interesting monuments, many old houses stretch out along narrow streets,medieval ramparts facing a vast horizon make the former capital of the Carolingian empire an absolute must to visit.

House Rules
Guests should shower before entering the jaccuzi in order to remove body lotions, deodorants or dead skin cells. Guests should remove their outdoor shoes before going upstairs in order to keep the parquet floor clean. Guests shouldn't forget to close or lock the door on their way out to prevent our cat to escape.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
