Where you'll be
Nantevil-en-Vallée, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France
The house is situated in the centre of Nantevil-en-Vallee in the heart of the beautiful Charente Region.
The town is one of the 'Petites Cités de Caractère' of France, deservedly so... and strolling through the flowery alleys allows you to discover houses dating from the 12th
to the 19th century, half-timbered facades, or facades encrusted with corbels from the abbey.
The history of Nantevil-en-Vallee is linked to that of its abbey, whose foundation is attributed to Charlemagne in the 8th century.
During the Middle Ages, Nantevil was on a route to Santiago de Compostela which passed through Charente through Moutardon, Vertevil-sur-Charente, Tusson, Saint-Amant-de-Boixe, Angoulême, Mouthiers, Puypéroux and Aubeterre

I had a wonderful time with Jenny and Alex :D I came to Dublin for a new job and was about to start my search for permanent accommodation. Both Jenny and Alex offered their time and knowledge to advise me on the best areas, what to look for and what to avoid. The house is perfectly located in a quiet area that is still very well served by several buses going straight to the city center which made commuting to work very easy. Each morning I enjoyed fantastic homemade granola with coffee or tea and slept well in the very comfortable bed during the nights. Also, being greeted by Milo and the other dogs staying part time each day was great. They took fantastic care of me and I'd definitely stay there again.

We had a great time in westbrook with the incredible hosts Alex and Jenny. The location was great with public transportation and walking distance to some of the necessary shops . The house is very beautiful ,clean and comfortable with a big clean washroom. Jenny had provided us with a few options for the breakfast and was very keen in taking good care of us. Alex helped us with explaining the different routes that we could take to view some of the hidden treasures on our way to wicklow. Both of them were strictly following COVID protocols which was impressive. Loved staying with them and give a 100% for the beautiful home. Highly recommend!!!

I began my search on Homestay at a fragile time in my life. My basic criteria for finding somewhere to stay was a commutable distance to work, which is how I stumbled upon Alex and Jenny. What I got instead was an extremely comfortable house with the most incredible hosts. Jenny is the most amazing cook and a warm and kind person, and Alex is a mix of a cool older brother and a father, who can talk endlessly about music, movies and just about everything in between. Both are more than happy to chat to you, and more than willing to offer you space when it's needed. To say they are good hosts is one thing. More accurately, they are wonderful, wonderful people. Whatever you want - whether it's help with the local area, a wonderful breakfast or someone to talk to about your troubles in life - they will provide. If you are looking for the most comfortable bed in South Dublin, this is it. If you want to stay somewhere where you will feel like a better human after leaving, this is it and more.
Oh, and there is an adorable dog as well. What more would you want?
