I live in a small flat in the city of Kozani in the region of Western Macedonia in Northern Greece. The city is 720m above sea level, next to the Egnatia highway, which connects the port of Igoumenitsa (opposite Italy) and the Greek-Turkish border in Thrace within 7 hours. Kozani has a population of about 45,000 and is an hour's drive from Thessaloniki, the second biggest city in Greece after capital Athens.
I am single, so I live alone in the flat. My bedroom has a double bed (which I will gladly give up if needed for couples to book it), a one-person guest room, a study, a living room and kitchen, a bathroom (tub, toilet), small storage closet.

NO PETS are allowed in the building.
English, Greek and "ein bischen Deutch" are spoken.
Parking is not a problem.

About the Area
The flat is situated about 10 minutes away from the city centre on foot. Around the corner there is a mini-market.
The central square is next to cafes and shops, near the Folklore and Natural History Museum. In 20km south-west there is the Archaeological Museum of Aiani, to the west the traditional village of Siatista, to the south there is the artificial lake of Polyfytos, the castle remains of Servia and the gorge of Velvendos.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
