I live on the beautiful Argosaronic island of Spetses with my husband, occasionally our children who are students in the UK and our two dogs. We live in a beautiful, new but traditional style Spetsiot house with 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, comfortable sitting room leading onto large balcony with breathtaking panoramic views over the Straits of Spetses including the island of Hydra.
Our home is on a small estate of 7 buildings surrounding a large swimming pool in a luscious garden where breakfast can be served. As we are on the edge of town there is only the peaceful sound of birds and insects. We have a vegetable garden to the rear providing fresh produce and homemade jams.
Dapia harbour where the ferry boat and flying dolphins arrive is a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute motorbike or taxi ride. Cars, with the exception of 7 taxis are not allowed to circulate on the island. Islanders walk or use motorbikes although there are horse buggies and 2 buses available from Easter until October and various boats and water taxis for transport to the islands' beautiful beaches.

About the Area
Our home is on the edge of town with a 10 minute walk to the central harbour of Dapia which gives us the advantage of beautiful, peaceful views. Dapia harbour is a lively area with many coffee shops leading on to the town beach area of Agios Mamas with typically Greek tavernas. The island taxi rank is situated in Dapia harbour as are both horse buggy stations - one on either side of the harbour. One of the island bus services leaves from Dapia and finishes at Vrelos beach whereas the other bus leaves from Agios Mamas and finishes on the opposite side of the island at Agia Paraskevi beach.

House Rules
Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after. Respect our neighbours - there is a 'mesimeri' rule in Greece which means there is a quiet time between 3 and 5 pm which is a lovely time to enjoy the pool quietly. Enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
