The property is located in a quiet residential area with lot of greenery around. You will be woken up by chirping birds in the morning and also get to view the birds.
Guests can look forward to get a feeling of a home away from their homes with personal touch. The morning can be with a cup of coffee on the terrace and probably sighting birds. And for couples, they can order for a candle light dinner with typical local cuisines. There is a library where guests could just laze reading.
There are lot of theme restaurants around and there are a variety of local foods that the guests should try.
Kerala is know for the Ayurveda Alteranate medicine which has been in practice for more than 5000 years and Calicut Kottokkal Ayurveda are pioneers in this. Look forward to visiting them for various therapies and massages.
Calicut has many Historical Temples, Churches, Mosques and Museums which Guests should visit.
Kerala is know as Gods Own Country, where you have everything here, right from Hills to Rivers to Backwaters to Forests to Beaches and very serene and famous for variety of Spices.
The beach is just 5 km away and the famous Kappad serene beach where Vasco Da Gama landed is 15 km away and a place to visit. The Beypore beach is historical, where they make the traditional wooden boats and also this beach connects to the Chaliar river a must sight to see and have a nice boat ride.
You can look forward to have a nice boat ride with traditional Kerala Lunch with local fish or you could look forward to some adventure in Kayaking.
Other attractions, local site tours and local shopping can be arranged at request. The Kerala handloom house is full of handicrafts where guests can pick a souvenir.
This is one place where visitors can plan round the year and there is something to look forward every season.

House Rules
Dear Guests,
Anashwara, welcomes you into our Home Stay and we hope your stay will be comfortable and enjoyable and we would endeavour towards that.
A - We believe in going green and conserving energy and believe our guests too would want the same and have following requests.
- To turn on the lights that are required only and to keep to a minimum and keep all power switches off when not in usage.
- The geyser for hot water at the bathroom has a yellow indicator switch and needs to be switched on just half an hour before taking bath and that would give enough hot water for the day.
- The Air Conditioners are pre-set at 22 Deg C and a switch provided at low level and can be turned on when required and kept to a minimum usage. The windows in the rooms kept open and with the fan on will keep the room at a comfortable temperature for most parts of the year.
- We encourage guest’s use the same linens and towels for their duration of stay as there are additional charges if required to be changed.
- We encourage guests to keep their rooms clean and generate as less waste as possible as there are additional charges for cleaning the rooms and waste disposal.
- Kerala and We are Non Plastic and the law forbids any generation and disposal of these and we request guests to abide by this law.
B - Way around Anashwara
- Room temperature Drinking water is provide free and Guests could ask for refills as required.
- The bath room water mixers have C & H on the turn knob to indicate cold and hot water respectively.
- Soaps and Towels are provided.
- The closets have either a pull or press buttons for flushing.
- Rooms are provided with a Steel Cupboard and a Safe within with a Key.
- There is a Terrace at the First Floor facing front with seating’s which guest can use. The door to the terrace should be kept always closed to avoid mosquitoes and other insects getting into the house and the door bolted after usage.
- Guests are requested to not to open windows that are not provided with nets.
- There is Library for all ages and Board Games for Children at the First Floor Central Area. Guests are requested to use this and return to the same place after usage and not to take these into the Guest Rooms.
- There is a smoke zone at the First Floor terrace to the back which guests could use and the terrace door to be kept closed always and bolted after usage.
- The premise is protected with CCTV
C – Food and other services.
- Standard Breakfast can be provided on order basis and would comprise of Bread, Butter, Jam, Boiled Eggs, Cornflakes, Coffee or Tea and need to be ordered the previous night and would be at Rs. 100/- per head.
- Facility to make Coffee/Tea are provisioned in the Guests Rooms and the first fills are provided free. Additional Fills will be chargeable at Rs. 50/- per item.
- There are lot of Restaurants around famous for local cuisines which we encourage guests for their Lunch and Dinner.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
