For lovers of greenery and a countryside environment in the heart of the city, if you love your morning tea/coffee in the open garden, with chirping of birds; if you love waking up to the crowing of a rooster and finally if you love to meet a professional friendly couple who are authors, this place is for you.
It's a five-bedroom bungalow situated in South Delhi. It's in a green area that has no air pollution or sound pollution, away from the hustle & bustle of the traffic and the city, the nearest main road is about 2km away. It's countryside living in the heart of the city. My wife and I are retired professionals. She is an ex-State Bank of India's senior officer. I am a Mechanical Engineer and retired after a career in the industry. Post retirement, we have both become authors and our books are available on URL HIDDEN - apart from other sites. We have two spare bedrooms that can be used for guests, the house has all amenities and best hosts who go that extra yard to make you comfortable, for the best homestay experience.
You could spot a variety of birds, a dancing peacock and even a neel-gai(blue bull) at times.
Breakfast is included in the tariff - meals/food covering a very large variety of cuisines, can conveniently be ordered for delivery from over a dozen places around by phone if you do not wish to step out.

Our house is located on the south side of the city in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood near Saket in Sainik Farms - which consists of farmhouses. We are about 18 km from the airport. 3 km from the nearest Metro Station, and 2 km from the nearest bus stop.
It is like an oasis of greenery - yet in the heart of the city.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
