Girlfriend and I stayed at Paul´s house for 4 nights. He was our first host in our "Homestay" experience and he surely set the bar very very high. He has lovely warm house in which we felt like home. Room with the bathroom, as the rest of the house, was clean and cozy. Breakfast was rich and various. He let us use his fridge and we even cooked lunch once. All appliances was available to us. Also, he surprised us with few things such as electric blanket which made our sleep perfect. He even picked us up from train station and drove us trough Castlebar to look around.
We were lucky to see his house in this part of year because when you are sitting in Paul`s living room with a cup of warm tea in hands, surrounded with Christmas decorations and open fire, you can really feel Irish December.
Paul is not just a great host but an extraordinary person who helped us a lot, always with a smile on face, and we will always be grateful for that.
We are very pleased because we chose his house over other accommodations and we are definitely recommend it to anybody who are planning visiting Castlebar.
