We have a five bedroom detached house with two en suite bathrooms and a main bathroom. One double room with en suite and a single room which will use the main bathroom. I also have use of my sons twin room if the need arises . We have a large kitchen / living room which is the heart of our home, also an additional living room downstairs and dining room. We have recently put a small gym and table tennis table into our basement for all to use. We are a very close family of five myself, my husband Paul my daughter Norah who is 19yrs old and twin boys Michael and David who just turned 15yrs. We live in a very quiet residential area with easy access to public transport. It's a heritage town so it has some very nice places to visit lots of restaurants and pubs and our local heritage centre a library, chemists, internet cafe's . There is some beautiful walks around the coast and a short train ride will take you to greystones or dunlaoire and into the city centre.

This house is not a self catering home however for a price of €8.00 I can provide and evening meal, and €5.00 i can provide a packed lunch both of these must be pre arranged with me

About the Area
We are located in the coastal area of Dalkey. You can take the Aircoach from Dublin airport directly to Dalkey it stops at our local post office it costs approx €9 and it is a 10 minute walk to our house from there, the coach runs every hour and every half hour early in the morning, From my house it takes five minutes to walk to the dart station which will take you into the city center it takes about 25 minutes. The service is very regular. We also have a bus service but the journey does take a bit longer. Depending on the length of your stay you can purchase a weekly/monthly ticket. The dart service runs from Dalkey to Greystones and also to Howth which is another lovely coastal town.

Please do not adjust the heat settings yourself, ask me and I will happily turn up/down for you depending on your requirements
Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after!

Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance
Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home!

We didn't stay long enough but we will be sure to visit with Eileen in Dalkey again next year. Eileen is a perfect hostess and such a lovely person. Beautiful home, view is amazing and the location is absolutely fantastic.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
