We are an outgoing bi-cultural family with two young children. Pikki is a PhD student in Cognitive Neuroscience in Trinity College Dublin. She is originally from Hong Kong and speaks native Cantonese, fluent Mandarin and English, as well as some Spanish . Lorcan is a design consultant in a Dublin-based furniture company. We both enjoy meeting people from different cultures and love the outdoors.

About the Area
Our house is located in a lovely estate in the Hollystown. The neighbours are very nice and it's a safe and family-friendly neighbourhood. We are about 18km from the city centre (that's 20 min away by car or 40 min away by bus). We're 15 min drive from the airport. The closest bus stop from our house is 8 min walk away and there are 3 buses each way to and from the city centre but because of this, we are willing to give our students a lift between 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday (weekends' availability of this service varies depending on our plans) to the next closest bus stop (20 min walk/ 5 min drive away from our house) where there are more frequent buses to the city centre as well as Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.

House Rules
Cleaning after yourself is a must. Be proactive about keeping the house clean and tidy. Keep noise to minimum after 8:30pm.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
