We had a good moment with Lorraine. Lorraine respected our privacy.
Warm house, room on the whole comfortable. The dog is lovely and very quiet.
However, the house is clean but some places are dirty (washing machine, drawer, dog peeing twice in the house...)
Some incidents with Lorraine :
- Lorraine woke us up in the middle of the night due to very loud conversations and the smell of cigarettes
- It was not possible to leave our things in the common rooms (shower products, clean dishes to dry while Lorraine left her dishes dirty for several days)
- Lorraine called after we left and accused us of having stained something. Knowing that we were always honest with her.September 2021
Lorraine is a wonderful host and very kind.Highly recommended

I spent New Year’s Eve and day in Dublin so 2 nights in the homestay. The first evening and when I arrived my host was welcoming and friendly . But after this evening I didn’t see her at all. The house was pretty cold with the heating only on on occasions. I felt the room could have been made more cosy and maybe a tv provided. The cost for these two nights was €120 which was more than usual I believe due to new year. I do think for this amount maybe breakfast could have been offered.

The room hasn't been cleaned, well I didn't mind much the floor but the sheets...
The bathroom is always dirty, perhaps due to other guests but still. Nearest place to eat something not fried is 20min walk away. Though it's true I haven't asked for a meal, neither was I offered one.October 2019
This guest awarded the host 4 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.

Lorraine is very friendly and helpful. There is a bus 1 minute from the house that leaves downtown in about 25 minutes. If I had to say something bad it would be that there was a lack of space in the closets to leave our things.
The rest is great!August 2019
