May 2017
I stayed at Sylvia and Nevillle house in May 2017 for 5 nights with my daughter. That was my 3rd B&B stay in Ireland, and the best one in terms of accommodation.
We booked 2 rooms. Both rooms are upstairs. Between the guest rooms there is the bedroom in which Sylvia and Nevillle sleep themselves. Right beside the rooms there is bathroom with toilet. There was always hot water any time of the day to take a shower or have a bath.
In my room, which was one overlooking the beautiful garden, there was actually no desk as pictured here. It had 2 single beds instead. Both were quite good to sleep. There is TV in both rooms.
The house is close to the city center. I loved the scenic views to mountains right outside the door. There are pubs and restaurants and lovely park nearby.
We really enjoyed our time with Nevillle and Sylvia. Nevillle was always there to pick us up or give us a ride whenever we need to go, for free, even late at night. Sylvia served us full Irish breakfast almost every day, though it stated here Only light breakfast included.
My daughter and I were happy to meet Sylvia and Nevillle. It was an excellent stay. I would strongly recommend this place to someone looking for two separate rooms in quiet area not too far away from Dublin city center.Host reply
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
