About the Area
Killarney View House Bed and Breakfast is located in a quiet setting but also only a 2 minute walk to the INEC and a 9 minute walk in to the center of town.
Ideally located with the best of both worlds, on the banks of the peaceful River Flesk and yet minutes away from down town Killarney. Close to world famous local attractions such as Killarney’s National Park and it’s beautiful lakes and mountains where Red Deer roam freely, Muckross House built in 1843, a magnificent Victorian Mansion, surrounded by a spectacular collection of rhododendrons and rockery.
Muckross traditional farm close to the recently restored 15th century Ross Castle on the shores of Killarney’s Lough Lein open to visitors, with excellent guided tours. Close to Ireland’s most scenic glacial valley, Gap Of Dunloe, near Kate Kearney’s Cottage, also Torc Waterfall, Ladies View, Moll’s Gap and Muckross Abbey from 1448 to St. Mary’s Cathedral from 1855. All of the above are just minutes drive away from Killarney View House Bed and Breakfast and it is located on the famous Ring Of Kerry route.
For those with an interest in fishing, Killarney View House is the ideal place to stay. The River Flesk, which flows into the Lower Lake, flows directly beside the house providing instant access to good fishing grounds. The river is quite large and is well known among local fishermen for its quality trout and salmon. Like the River Flesk, the Lakes of Killarney are known for their salmon and trout fishing. The three lakes and the surrounding area are world famous for their beauty. The lakes are an ideal location for those who prefer lake fishing to river fishing.

The B & B is very well located in Killarney. The staff is smiling and very friendly. The service is quality and the breakfast is really delicious with several choices in the menu. There is also a small lounge with a view of the river (tea, coffee, cakes at will) and fireplace, which does not leave indifferent !!

Fabulous place. Close to town and the park with a beautiful view from a cosy spacious living room to the river. Killarney is a fantastic place to visit, nature and great pubs and restaurants all near by. Coffee tea and biscuits available all day which are very welcome after a long bike ride or walk. Mary and her staff were amazing, very friendly, gave us tips for our travel as well as being very accommodating to keep our mountain bikes in a safe place. Breakfast was delicious, cooked to order every morning with fresh scones and coffee available too.
