Guests have full access to the Drawing room, Dining Room and a well stocked Library. There are over 2 acres of gardens including terraces for our guests to enjoy. Ideal location for those en route to the West of Ireland or for those exploring the wonderful Irish Midland area and all it has to offer. Fishing, golf, horse riding, historical tours, shopping and sight seeing are all available in the immediate vicinity. Perfect business trip stopover destination in the Irish Midlands.

A unique place to stay for a romantic or relaxing break Glebe House is located in the centre of Ireland just over an hour's drive from Dublin and situated on the main route to the West of Ireland , which makes it ideal for either a midweek or weekend country break or perhaps a one night stopover for those on tour. Guests can stroll to the village of Rathowen and savour the local village life, whether you seek the “craic” of a local pub atmosphere or wish to take the local unique Bog Walk which is located only minutes away.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?
