We live in a small town, just outside Waterford City, it’s called Tramore, Just 15 minutes drive from Waterford City by car and with a regular bus service. The beach is a 10 minute walk from our home. Tramore can provide all you need for a memorable stay. Besides the obvious attraction of the beach, Tramore offers much more for those who look to experience some of Ireland's breath-taking scenery, Tramore sits right in the middle of the southeast coastal drive. It's a very safe and fun environment, with so much to do. The town has long been associated with a variety of cultured tourists and offers a traditional seaside experience of ice-cream, fairground and sand. The beach front features a long promenade and an amusement park, which is set up every year between March and September with a small amusement park and a selection of rides, also holiday shops and cafe's opposite the beach. Here you can enjoy an ice cream, lemonade, fish & chips or you can also buy souvenirs of the local area. Walks in the locality include the Doneraile Walk, Cliff Road Walk, as well as the 5km Strand walk. The main attraction is surfing, which can be done all year round.

Soak up the culture and history of this area, at the attractions Waterford City provides, such as the Waterford Crystal Visitor Center and Waterford Medieval Museum of Treasures and The Bishops Palace, where you can get a walking tour of Waterford being the oldest city in all of Ireland (seasonal) also some amazing shops. If you visit during the August bank holiday weekend you wont have missed out. You would be lucky to experience the wonder of Spraoi, one of Ireland's premier street festivals which is held in Waterford city annually. Also you can reach many others cities and towns by bus services, eg; Dublin and Cork. 

There is a beautiful scenic coastal drive stretching from Tramore to Dungarvan. Along this drive there are many attractions such as Fenor bog. Dunhill castle (ruins) and other small beaches. You can enjoy a picnic on this route while admiring the scenery.

House Rules

Please keep our home secure and double-lock the front door when entering and leaving the house
Please do not adjust the heat settings yourself, ask me and I will happily do it for you.
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight please.
We would prefer if guests did not eat in the room and please treat our home the same as you would your own home and be respectful of neighbours and hosts! Sorry, we do not have the facilities to cater for pets.
Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
