My boyfriend and I live at the border of the historical centre of Lecce, a real gem to see. The apartment is 5 minutes walking from the train station and from the salentoinbus bus stop as well as from the main square. The room is very large and furnitured with vintage furniture. It has a large balcony with plants and chairs where you can enjoy the sunshine. You have full access to the kitchen, which is fully equipped.

About the Area
he kitchen is fully equipped and you can do your grocery near Porta Rudiae in "Supermercato di Lecce" (viale Università 117, 5 minutes walking) open everyday from 7:30 to 22:00 and from 7:30 to 14:00 on sundays and holidays. This supermarket is quite cheap and offers a good range of local specialities, from dairy products to pasta. Opposite to this supermarket you can find the Market of Porta Rudiae, selling fresh vegetables and fruits, fresh bread and meats. Another option is the market of Campagna Amica, on monday, wendsday and friday mornings, located in Parco Tafuro (Via Luigi Corvaglia), about 15 minutes walking from the apartment, but in the opposite direction. Here you can find bio fruits and vegetables, local dairy products coming from the nearby farms, honey, fresh bakery products and fresh fish coming from the coast of Gallipoli with a small van, which offer as well some dishes of fried fishes as a peculiar midmorning snack.
