I live in a apartment in Rovigo, on the north side of Italy, with my mum. Our apartment is 1 hour train ride to Venice and Bologna and half an hour train ride to Padua and Ferrara.

We have 3 bedrooms, a large kitchen and separate dining room. We have bicycles, which our guests are welcome to borrow during their stay.

My mum loves baking and she often prepares food at home so you can really enjoy typical Italian foods.

We have no children living at home but we have 2 little nephews who come to visit during the week and I promise you will fall in love with them!
This is a non-smoking residence; the guests are allowed to smoke outside. No pets live in this household.

About the Area

Our apartment is located in a safe and quiet suburb close to the city centre.

Rovigo is a modern city whose past is mapped out by its remarkable historic buildings.
The Medieval influence can be seen in the towers that look over the city, such as the tower in via Pighin and the two leaning towers: Donà -one of the highest Italian medieval towers- and the Mozza tower.

Heading towards the Adriatic Sea you can visit the Po Delta Park, an area where masterpieces of nature and man unite to offer a sensational landscape.

In the nearby Fratta Polesine it is possible to admire Villa Badoer, one of the most beautiful Palladian villas realized in the Veneto area (16th Century), its interiors adorned with frescoes by Pierfrancesco Giallo Fiorentino. Badoer is one of 24 Palladian villas named as a single UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the city centre of Rovigo you will find cafes, bars and restaurants as well as some nice fashion boutiques and specialist shops.

Reaching the city centre is easy. You can walk (10 minutes), ride a bicycle , take a bus or we can take you there by car.
