The room is nice and comfortable, and the food is really the best. After a few weeks in Japan, I was disappointed to see that my Japanese food experience was far from the healthy image that I had. Pretty good overall, but often too salty, too fat, too meaty or too sweet. But the food Sato-san makes is really amazing, both delicious and using diverse and health ingredients. So I guess that for the food only it'll be already worth it to try coming to her home for a few days !
But I also have to say Sato-san and Hidenobu-san are the kindest people ever. Since the minute of my arrival until my departure, they always did everything they could, often going out of their way, to make me happy and comfortable. When they had free time, they offered me to do many different things according to what they knew I was interested in, and are overall very cheerful and friendly people. The kids are nice too, even though a bit moody at times.
I wasn't in my best disposition when I arrived at their home, due to me being very tired, but they really made me feel at home, part of their family, and are very interesting and nice people to talk with.
So I definitely recommend them for anyone wanting to experience Japanese family life, outside of the big cities.I hope I'll be able to come back someday !

Sato and Hidenobu were wonderful hosts for our two nights stay. One of the highlights of my girlfriend and I's two weeks in Japan. Sato went out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable stay and she taught us how to make gyoza! The kids were so much fun to hang out with and we will miss the family dearly. We definitely will be recommending to friends and family who visit Hiroshima!

I really enjoyed my stay at Sato's house. Sato was a great host and her family was wonderful to spend time with. Her children are adorable. Her food is also amazing and I enjoyed learning how to cook yakisoba and gyoza.

I never thought such nice, kind, friendly, generous people could exist.
I had best time with Sato's family and its definately a highlight of my trip in Japan.
I already envy for those who will decide to stay at Sato's family. Its impossible not to have a good time with them.
Saying goodbye was heartbreaking but I promised that I will come back .

Anyone coming to Japan for more than a week, please please please spare atleast a week homestaying with Sato san and her family. She a very sweet and fun loving person. She will go the extra mile to make you comfortable throughout your stay. Her English is very good (though I spoke mostly Japanese with the family all the time). Without any doubt you'll rate the homestay with her family as the best time you've had on your trip. The dishes she cooked were superb (never got to taste anything equivalent to that in the rest of my trip). Her kids are adorable and super smart! Without a doubt the best time I've had in Japan and can't wait to meet her again on my next trip! Thank you Sato san!

Sato, Hidenobu and their family were wonderful home stay hosts, perfect in every way, very welcoming and with a relaxing and fun loving nature which made my home stay experience immensely enjoyable.
Sato is an excellent cook and provided wonderful traditional Japanese meals throughout my stay.
Five hearts plus another five for the sightseeing, food and fun we shared together, sublime.September 2017
The ten days I was able to stay with Sato-san and her family were fantastic. She and her family were always very kind and helpful to me. When I was in trouble, they did not hesitate to help me. Also, they made it possible for me to travel around.
The room I was able to use was big and had enough space for all my stuff. Sato-san is a very good cook and I loved her healthy and delicious food. Since she speaks English very well, you will not have any problems with talking to her.
If you are planning to go to Hiroshima, I can totally recommend this nice host family. Thank you very much for the time I spent with you and see you next year again. :-)May 2017
I had a great stay with Sato and Hidenobu-san during Golden Week in Kannabe! Their children are adorable and I had an amazing time playing with them and attending fun children's day events! I had an incredible time and would love to go back.
Sato-san is an amazing chef and prepares delicious and healthy breakfasts and dinner. She speaks great english, as she has spent time in Oregon as an exchange student. I felt extremely comfortable in their home. If you are curious about how it feels to be a member of a modern Japanese family, this is the perfect homestay for you.

This was my first Homestay and it was a great experience! Sato and her family were very welcoming. I cannot speak Japanese, but this was no issue, and Sato speaks English very well. During my 10-day stay, I enjoyed many family activities. Sato is a very good cook, she prepares delicious and healthy food! I had a comfortable, spacious room, and the house is very nice in general. If you like children, I highly recommend this host family.
