We are happy to offer you safe and enjoyable homestay accommodation option in Mombasa.
Our home can cater to singles, couples, groups, volunteers, students, and/or travelers, you name it, we have a place for you. We also live on the premises therefore ensuring that you are received warmly and shall be well taken care of in terms of offering you assistance and support during your stay. Also note that a light breakfast is offered without any extra charge.
Our homestay is located in a safe and secure area of Bamburi Fisheries, just a short distance from all of Mombasa's major highlights. We are also a superb base for heading out on your travels around Kenya.

About the Area
Our house is located on the north coast of Mombasa town in a quiet and safe area. We are located 3KM from the beach and animal parks, 4 Km from major malls and 40 minutes drive to the airport. The bus stop is only 3 minutes walk from the house with many means of transport available.

House Rules
- Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation received less than Two weeks of arrival date and failure to arrive at the homestay will be treated as a No-Show you incur 30% of the booking value.
- Rooms/beds not reserved during outside travel shall be open for occupation by others and their availability is not a guarantee. Storage will be provided for the guests who request.
- Respect for the home, its values and norms is utmost for both guests and family members. We do not discriminate against any colour, gender, religious affiliations and beliefs. Any disrespect shall lead to the party politely asked to leave.
- CHILDREN ARE A BIG PART OF THIS FAMILY, THEY ARE ACTIVE AND IMPRESSIONABLE, BUT ALSO LOVE MEETING NEW PEOPLE. ALL GUESTS ARE ASKED TO BEHAVE APPROPRIATELY INCLUDING USING THE RIGHT LANGUAGE AND APPROACH TO THEM.
- Resources such as water and Electricity are really scarce in Kenya, we request out guests to be conscious of this and take quick showers, don,t leave the water running and turn out the light when you leave a room.
- Prior booking or communication through email and/or phonecall is a must, any walk in clients will not be accepted . This includes people who want to view the home prior to booking.
- Finally you are here to stay with us and learn, please have fun, ask questions, we are more than willing to assist where we can. We would love that you are part of the family and teach us about yourself too.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
