I live in Lang'ata, about 25 minutes from the CBD and 5 minute walk to the Nairobi National Park. The closest mall is the Galleria Mall, about 10 mins drive. Also close is the famous Carnivore Restaurant - 15 mins drive.
My house is a 4 bedroom maisonette within a gated community , but also in its's own compound. I have 3 extra bedrooms. 2 are en- suite with hot water shower, the 3rd has access to a bathroom without hot water but a shower head all the same. I have a large kitchen, and a spacious living room with a dining area.
I have a dog - a Spitz-Terrier who loves being petted.

About the Area
My house is located in a safe and quiet estate, about 25 mins from the CBD. Close to us is the Carnivore Restaurant, Bomas of Kenya, Wilson Airport and my favourite, the Nairobi National Park.
There is a small shopping center nearby for grocery shopping. We are about 10 mins from Galleria Shopping Mall which has great restaurants, supermarket, grocery store, KFC, Froyo and gas station.
Public transport ( matatu's) can be picked form outside the estate's gate.

Meals

House Rules
Always lock the main gate when entering and leaving the house. Make sure the dog inside before locking-- we do not want him locked out :(
I have a house girl who comes in daily except on weekends. Clean up after yourself a bit though. On weekends, you have to clean your dishes and the kitchen counter tops as she does not work then
Please do not bring visitors without informing me first
Please ask before eating any left over food in the fridge.
No smoking in the house ( includes the bathrooms). If you want to smoke, you can smoke outside the house.

A lovely place to stay and lovely hostess with the most(est) friendly, polite, lively intelligent and very very accommodating. The place was beautiful and I slept like a baby, too bad I wasn't around for longer.. Many thanks Recommend 100%
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
