We live in a 3 bed house in Black River in Mauritius .Black river is on the west coast of the Island.
Our house is well situated ,only 5 minutes walk to the beautifull beach of Martello Tower,the bank, the shops and the restaurants.
Only 2 minutes walk to the supermarket and the bus stop
The house is very well decorated with wood drift furnitures made by us.
The garden is very natural and tropical with fountain,palm trees, coconut tress ,cactus ,...
WE have 3 terraces :each one has a special ambiance.
The front one with the swimming pool,the bar,the jaccuzi,the pitza and the barbecue place.
The second terrace is a colorfull one with recycle decorations
The back one a natural stone terrace is a relax place with hamac and long chair . You can relax with the shadows of a big mangoes tree .
At the back of the house you have a splendid view on the Mountain of Tamarin
we rent the rooms separately. we have 2 double bedrooms to rent : the standard and the superior
and a big deluxe room with a 2mx2m bed
in each room you have air conditioning, ceiling fan ,safe , mini fridge,tv with satellite system,and free wifi.each room has a bathroom in suites
we provide bedsheets and towels. and a cleaning service
You have access to all the house ,garden and terrace.
in the morning we serve a full breakfast .(the price include the breakfast)
When you enter the house we want you to feel as a member of the family and feel at home.
We love cooking Mauritian food and we want our guest to have the best of mauritius
So we propose additional services: airport transfert,diner,barbecue on the beach, candle diner on the beach, visit of the island,shopping, boat,paddle, with a personal attention

We stayed at Paradise Nest for twelve nights. Benoit and Brigitte were wonderful hosts throughout. They collected and returned us to the airport in comfort and cared for us nicely in between.
Paradise nest is lovely with rustic charm and we really enjoyed having a warm, clean swimming pool in the grounds.
Brigitte cooked us some lovely evening meals with fresh local fish too.

Paradise Nest.....what can we tell you ?????
Our 10 night stay with Brigitte and Benoit was made most special by their warm caring attitude towards us as their guests. Nothing was ever too much for them, from our excellent cooked breakfasts every morning to sorting out our car hire and organising fishing and boat trips. They have many local contacts and all at much better prices than the bigger tourist companies.
I had the chance to catch several Yellowfin Tuna and Bonito to 15lb on light fishing tackle. On another day we took a boat trip that included snorkelling, feeding fish on the edge of the reef and a bbq and drinks on the beach....bliss.
Paradise Nest is located less than five minutes walk from the beach. There is a great supermaket just a couple minutes walk away and there are some great resturants near by.
Brigitte and Benoit have a wonderful home and its still improving as they are carefully expanding their accomadations to allow more guests to have a wider range and choice. Brigitte has decorated many areas of the main house and outdoor areas with her skilled craft and art work to make it an excellent , varied and relaxing place to be.
Each night we enjoyed cold beers at the bar beside the pool before eating a tasty home cooked supper with them.
Benoit finds it very easy to embrace guests with his warm happy aura, we can still somehow hear his laughter through the grey drizzle of November back here in the UK!
We feel Benoit and Brigitte are now our friends and we look forward to returning some day soon.
Mauritius is a wonderful place and staying at Paradise Nest with Brigitte and Benoit was the perfect way to help us experience the island.
We can whole heartedly recommend this homestay , its more than that!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
