My wife Pamela and myself built our Villa Alizee some three years ago with the objective of enjoying a nice and peaceful stay there. We live with our three children over there and since one year we decided to convert our villa into a guest house while still living there given I retire from the hospitality industry after more than 30 years of service. This was due to my passion towards meeting people from different borders and culture.... so rich
Since March last year we started with one suite and due to the success of the place we decided to add some more rooms. Now we are able to accommodate around 8 guests in four different rooms each with their own style and authenticity. Since March last year we have been making friends all over the world and we look forward to welcome more friends in the coming months.

About the Area
Our villa is located on the North West cast, some fifteen minutes away from Port Louis the capital of the island.
From there you are only fifteen minutes as well to the nice beach of Balaclava and to the rest of the northern beach.
The botanical garden of Pamplemousse is only some ten minutes away by car. The best option while staying at our villa reins to rent a car ( around US 25 per day) or else you can also experience the use of the public transport up to the city centre.
Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Notre séjour à Ah Foo s’est plutôt bien déroulé, le cadre est agréable. Nous y avons passé une semaine, la chambre et la salle de bains mériteraient un bon rafraîchissement mais la literie était bonne. Il faut être véhiculé car c’est en grande banlieue de Port Louis, nous n’avions pas de voiture donc nous avons opté pour les taxis qui ne sont pas excessifs à Maurice. La table d’hôte est exceptionnelle, Hondo et Oliver forment une belle équipe, les plats sont succulents et recherchés. Bravo à tous les deux! Un seul regret, nous sommes chez l’habitant mais ils ne nous ont pas accueillies et ne se sont même pas présentés, nous avons dû les croiser quelques fois mais sans certitude, nous avons trouvé ça dommage car le but de la maison d’hôtes c’est de partager. Ça reste une bonne adresse, surtout pour la cuisine
How do I book?

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
