My name is Mohamed, my family members are Carolyn my wife, Oliver (our son) Ahmed (my brother), my father who is in his late 90's and my mother who is in her early 60s. You are very welcome to our home.
Our home is a typical stone and earth built Berber house 1900m above sea level in the High Atlas mountains. It is common to see small shell fossils on rocks here. We have some wildlife which we have been told that is only found in the High Atlas. There are many walks and treks in the local area including a 4.5 hour walk up to Lake Tamda where it is possible to camp overnight. We have dinosaur footprints on the opposite side of the valley.
We are only 17km from Telouet the local souk which takes place on Thursday and where the Glaoui kasbah can be found, known from Gavin Maxwell's book Lords of the Atlas.
Carolyn is 43. She speaks English and French and enjoys cooking, watching movies, music, festivals, reading, photography, travel, gardening, nature, and board games.
Mohamed is 31 and enjoys playing football and watching tennis, Berber music, , socialising, travel, television, nature, and board games. He speaks Arabic, French and some English.
Carolyn has 1 child living at home but Carolyn and Oliver are only in Tighza during school holidays.
Additional Info
The room rate includes the following services: regular room cleaning, lunch, and dinner. No parking near the house, park at Riad Kasbah Oliver about 5 minutes walk away. The road from Animeter is more suited to 4 x 4 vehicles. Hire car companies do not like their cars driven on dirt roads.

About the Area
Latitude is -709262-N Longitude 31.791702-E the map is incorrect on this web site as there are no street addresses up in the high Atlas mountains, check on googlemaps and you can see our terrace from the satellite photo. Once you confirm your booking you will get an email with our exact address. I can help you then with exact directions too if you let me know how you will be arriving. So don't worry you won't have any problems finding us in Tighza.

House Rules
Please keep our home secure and pull the front door closed when entering and leaving the house.
Please do not adjust the shower boiler yourself, ask me and I will happily do it for you.
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight please.
Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance.
Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
