Our house is located at Khandbari 10 Naya Bazar on the trekking route to Makalu Base Camp. There are me and my wife. My two kids Susmita and Sishr are studying in Kathmandu.
We have spared a room with two bed in the first floor of two storied cottage. Our kitchen is in in the ground floor. My wife Tulasa cooks and serves Nepali food Dal bhat. We have bee running the home stay for our guests since 2012. Till now more than 30 guests have have withe us. We have included breakfast,lunch diner in our price.
Additional Info
While staying with us you will have to speak English. You can learn our Nepali language and culture. You can use wi fi when when there is electricity supply.

About the Area
I live in Khandbari in the eastern part of Nepal. I live in a house of my own. We have a separate room with two beds. Our two guests can sleep on the separate beds in their own room. If you need to smoke, our garden is the place to do so. We live outside of the main part of town, but our house is close to shops and on the main road, and the town center is only a short walk. We grow vegetables in our garden and also get fresh food from the market.

House Rules
We do not have any strict house rules. However we hope you will keep your shoes outside the room. You will smoke outside the rooms. You will be prepared to have breakfast, lunch and dinner in time.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
