Our house is located at the bottom of the port hills which has biking and walking tracks. Our house is a traditional 1920 villa at the front with modern extension at the rear.
We are a busy family of 5 our children range in age from 13-6 years old.
We have hosted for people from Scotland, France, Brazil, Germany, Mexico and Colombia all enjoyable experiences. We all enjoy meeting people from other countries and helping them settle in.
Meals are negotiable. I usually cook the evening meal Monday to Friday. And guests can make their own breakfast and lunch with food we provide.
we are flexible and able to negotiate meals to work with your needs. Our food is mostly organic, I cook/bake from scratch no packet meals or chemicals in our food. We do have a lot of nuts in the house so not good for nut allergies!
I am happy to answer questions. We are happy for guests to stay 3 nights to 3 months.

This was my first homestay experience and I am not disappointed. The family had been very pleasant and made me feel at home. I did not feel myself as a stranger. The room with the toilet attached made it private and yet the open kitchen commonly shared by the family made you feel part of the family activities in the morning and evening. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
