We love our home, as it is a bright open space, with lots of light - and we would love to share this with you. The nice outdoor area, invites for chilling in the sun to reading a book - but we are close to lots of activities as well (Kaiate Falls are just round the corner...and lots more to discover). The room has a wardrobe and bedside tables but enough room for your belongings. The bathroom is all yours, opposite your bedroom (no ensuite).
We are an outgoing couple who love New Zealand and everything outdoors. We're much into diving, fishing and boating as well as other outdoor activities. Our dog Skip lives with us and can be a bit shy to start with, but you will love him when he gets to know you (and the other way around) We do have a nice garden to relax or read a book, too.

About the Area
We are in a walking distance to a nice park with water access - at high tide you can kayak or swim. Also walking distance are a bus stop and a little shopping center. Hot Pools, Waterfalls and nice walks just minutes by car. Tauranga CBD is a 10 minute drive. Our neighborhood is lovely - quiet and safe.

House Rules
We are always happy to have people around - happy to give advises and talk about New Zealand (and other stuff) but if you like your piece and quiet we're happy with that too.
Kitchen use can be discussed.
We have a dog living with us - you will love him when you get to know him.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
