The house has 2 other rooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bathroom includes bathtub, a large window and a large mirror. But the star of the house really is the Rooftop, with at least a 180º view to Lisbon’s hills, the River, the Bridge, and even the South Bank.
With restaurants, bars, stores, and art galleries everywhere, this neighbourhood has rapidly become the coolest place in Lisbon. Leafy parks and squares enliven this booming, vibrant neighbourhood. You can join the locals at the park or visit Lisbon’s hillside Botanical Garden.
10 minute-walk from Baixa-Chiado and Rato metro stations and 15 minutes from Rossio Station (trains to Sintra) and Cais do Sodré Station (to South Bay, Belém and Cascais)
Despite being in a quiet area, it’s still the centre of the city with its usual bustle. But with the double-glass windows, you won’t hear a thing. You can also count with a fan or a heater, depending on the weather.

About the Area

If we translate the name of this neighbourhood it literally means Royal Prince. With restaurants, bars, stores, and art galleries everywhere, this neighbourhood is clearly attempting a rise to the throne. Hang in the coolest bars, shop at the dopest stores or just go for a bite.
It’s the neighbourhood with the most alternative and hip places, colourful fun nights and the hottest restaurants. Visit Príncipe Real garden, with its famous large cypress tree that fans into a circular shade and is 20-metre wide at the top. It’s a 150-year-old tree that has already survived a number of fires. Grab a “bica” from one of the garden’s two 18th-century kiosks, or stretch out on the grass and enjoy the sun.
The garden, which has kiosks, an esplanade and a covered bar for rainy days, is the home of many treasures. The Patriarcal Resevoir portion of Lisbon’s water museum sits under the garden, which can be visited on Saturdays. The park also hosts an organic market on Saturdays, with an antique and craft fair joining in on the last weekend of the month.
The Botanical Garden, right next to the Museum of Natural History and Science, also worth a visit, has a particularly impressive collection of tropical plants from Asia, the Americas, and Oceania. Stroll its paths to admire the semi-tropical and tropical flora or settle on a bench to enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by nature in the middle of a city.
If you’re into shopping, here you will find local concept stores like Entre Tanto, 21pr and Embaixada: a shopping centre and concept store occupying a well-restored Moorish-style building.
Príncipe Real is Lisbon’s gaybourhood, so you’ll find bars for every letter in the LGBT acronym. Trumps is the most popular for under 30s, playing house and pop music. For drag shows, there’s nothing like Finalmente, which is open every day of the week - even Mondays.
