I live in a beautiful 2 storey home, with a little garden and an outdoor area in a safe and friendly neighbourhood. Our house has a very cosy atmosphere and we are very flexible hosts.
You are free to use the living room, dining table and outdoor area too. I love meeting new people and we organise intimate BBQ parties in the outdoor porch area frequently and you are welcome to join us too!
Whatever it is, please treat it as your own home & not a hotel. Which means keep it tidy at all times and the rooms don't lock.
I have 3 rooms all with air conditioning and a fan. The bathroom is just besides each bedroom.
You can also access the kitchen (light cooking only), and outdoor BBQ area freely. This way, you can enjoy your privacy while enjoying our hospitality too.
I have a friendly home.
And all my guests are special to me.
There is a lot of famous and good food within a 3 minutes walk
Transportation is convenient.
Due to our infrastructure. There are direct bus services to Orchard and Ang Mo Kio & various parts of Singapore. We also hv a new MRT line. Google does help (GPS)
Trains & buses are connected.
You will never be lost in Singapore.
Its a friendly culture in Singapore.

We welcome long-stay guests.
Please be informed that the Bath Area has to be kept dry and clean at all times.
I would like to remind guests to always switch off the Aircon, light & fan when they leave the room. Some guests are very careless & forget to switch off.

About the Area
Our home is surrounded by greenery.
Transportation is convenient. 5 minute walk to to main road. Buses ply to every part of our island. To orchard the financial centre, little India etc.
We have a excellent transport system which is connectable to trains and buses. A 5 minute walk to eateries which serve indian, chinese, malay which is halal. There is a 24hr cafe which serves western food plus a snack bar of pasteries & cakes. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. There is a park nearby to relax and excersice. All our guests love the area and convenience.
A very comfy place for a holiday.

It has been a lovely stay. Delsy is a very nice and caring host. Room was as expected.
The place is very well located, with a metro station just 1-2 min walk.

Very nice warm and caring host and feel very much at home. Like staying with a friend. Quiet and nice environment. More than what I originally expected. Love all the conversations, not forgetting the Vodka and Bianca and beers. Best cook ever.

Cindy & Hubby were a Lovely couple especially Cindy she was full of Laughter. Unbelievable the days flew by so fast. She loved my cat Ginger & would always talk to Ginger whenever she was home. I hope she comes back again. Nice to HV guests like her brings laughter in the home. Miss her.

If someone would ask me where to stay in Singapore I would always recommend Delsy's homestay. From day 1 I felt welcomed and comfortable. I appreciate Delsy's openness, the conversations we had and she even cooked for me many times. Therefore, it was the best way to really live a singaporean everyday life in a nice and quiet neighborhood. I also love her cats!

Firstly, I am disappointed with a 4 heart given to me. After all the quality time I gave her a shoulder to cry on etc. I asked her why. She said 4 is very good .
I asked her as she is in contact with me and misses me. She will be back in a few days. I am trying to get her a job in Singapore. I feel sorry for her.

Delsy is a helpful, friendly hospitable host. On the eve of our departure she even cooks and invites us to have dinner with her. We chatted almost every evening on almost every subject.
The environment of her house is very safe and peaceful. MRT and bus stop are only 200m away and there are eateries near the MRT station which makes life very convenient.
Our stay with Delsy is a pleasant and memorable one. Not forgetting her two cats Ginger and Boy Boy. And also to mention her friend Rajah who has helped us a lot. Thank you Delsy.June 2023
Delsy was the best host ever. She was like a friend. She even made us dinner some times (her cooking was exceptional) and we felt like we are actually staying at a friend's place. She is a cheerful person who is always there for you when you need something. The place was super clean, I mean it's "clean clean". The room we stayed had access from outside so it was really convenient for us to come home at night and leave without disturbing anyone. More over it was a lovely stay and we really enjoyed that week. We would definitely book it again when we visit Singapore again. Cheers to a wonderful host and a superb place.
Some notes: This place is located like 50m away from MRT (Springleaf Station). That was super convenient when you are travelling on a budget as taxi fare is bit high in SG. And all the MRT lines are connected and you can even get to the Changi airport via MRT easily. There are restaurants, Convenience stores (7/11 & few more) and even a medical center within walking distance. I mean within 50 - 70 meters, all these things are available. So definitely the place is located in a very convenient place.

Honestly the first two days I had time to cook & entertain. After that I was super busy with work.
Jessica was such a sweet guest so was her hubby a lovely couple but it's a pity I did not spend much time with them physically. But we do keep in touch on whatsaap. I honestly hope they will visit Singapore again and be my guest. Thanks once again lovely Jessica & hubby for making my home your getaway.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
