I have a lovely big house, European style, not far from the airport with a beautifully decorated room. I love entertaining and cooking and also make the people discover my wonderful adopted country South Africa. I love the experience of meeting people from all over the world. I speak French, Spanish and English fluently and can advise on " things to do" in Johannesburg.
The house is very safe as besides the usual alarm and back up system, having been a police reservist for 16 years, I am very knowledgeable in security matters.

About the Area
My house is situated in a very quiet residential area ,very French looking, almost in the country side of Johannesburg, the only real noise are the exotic birds in my garden It is situated 15 minutes from the airport. Unfortunately, Johannesburg does not have an established public transport, but I can provide any sort of transfers by car or recommend a safe and reliable taxi network. also all shopping is done in malls .We have a few within short distances, where again I can provide transport to, alternatively you could hire a car, as I do have ample parking indoors.
My tenant and I are very security knowledgeable as we both did work for security/ army agencies and the house is well protected by armed response and 1 dogs.

House Rules
I can only think of general manners and cleanliness.
I would prefer short stays like stop overs before heading to another direction.. Also I am a retired person living mostly alone, and can only host ladies or couples for security reasons...
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
