Use this cozy, separate entrance bedroom as your base to explore our beautiful city. Comfortable Queen size bed with quality linens and en suite shower room. French doors open onto a sunny patch of lawn. Cool off in our swimming pool or sip a glass of wine on the patio. Centrally located in the Southern Suburbs ( with easy access to both the M3 and the M5) and free off street parking. A bar fridge, microwave and coffee make this the perfect " home away from home"

Working Mom ( I have two sons in their mid twenties that live with me) and wannabe princess :-)
I can't live without good coffee, my fabulous friends and family, white wine ( or even better a glass of bubbles!) sunshine and a book to read. Beautiful sandals are pretty high on the list too.
My favourite activities include walking ( really...I belong to a walking club and train twice a week!); socialising ( I love entertaining..everything from setting the table to making the food): gardening ( ok.. only in summer when the weather is good) and home decorating and renovation projects.
I would love to travel more. Which is one of the primary reasons for hosting.

About the Area
Plumstead is a typical middle class South African neigbourhood. It is leafy and green and has easy access to the railway line, bus service as well as major highways.
There is a strong sense of community. Tokai forest, the Constantia Wine route, historic Simonstown, vibey Woodstock, the University of Cape Town,the city centre and various beaches are all within a fifteen minute car or train trip. For shoppers there are a number of shopping centres in close proximity.

The guest room is limited to a maximum of two guests.
As this is our home please understand that without prior consultation no visitors are allowed.
Smokers are welcome , but on condition that they only smoke outdoors. All cigarette butts must be disposed of in our outdoor bin.
For your and our security please ensure that the guest room and main house are locked and the alarm is set when you go out.
For guests staying longer than a week, we will need access to the guest room in order to replenish linen and towels and to service the space.
If you need anything please just ask us. We will try our utmost to assist

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
