Hluhluwe Bush Camp is set in the heart of Zululand and bordering the treasure trove that is False Bay Park one of the Isimangaliso Wetland Park. 5 luxurious self-catering glamping tents between the Nyala, Reedbuck, Duikers and pineapple fields. Hluhluwe Bush Camp has a reception area with a Farmstall and a pool with sun loungers overlooking False Bay Park. The Farmstall is the number one shop for fresh, homemade produce. Biking and hiking are great and direct from the camp in False Bay Park.
I am living on the property, and I am more than happy to offer guidance and advice to every guest.

About the Area
Our camp is located around 20 km from Hluhluwe town. The area is very safe and pleasant. We have the iSimangaliso Wetland Park just a 5-minute drive from our camp. St. Lucia and Sodwana Bay are both less than an hour drive from the camp. Hluhluwe/ Imfolozi Park is just a 40-minute drive. Perfect and central location.
Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
1. No bare feet. Please be aware of the fact that you are in the African bush. Don’t take any risks and wear shoes or thick flip flops.
2. It is not recommended to drink tap water.
3. Watch the slippery pool steps, the steps can be very slippery. Just jump in immediately.
4. Conscious water use. Water is a scarce commodity, especially in Africa. Please be conscious of your usage.
5. No fire near the tents. To prevent a big campfire, please keep flammable materials away from the tents.
6. No smoking at or near the tent or pool. Please keep in mind that not everyone is a big fan of smoke.
7. Close the zipper. To prevent the monkeys or other creatures from stealing your belongings, When leaving the camp please close your zipper.
8. Be aware of the pesticides. They love your used plates and glasses, please clean after usage.
9. No washing lines aloud. Let the view washline free.
10. Please put the cushions inside in the evening. Because of the humidity and tropical weather, we highly appreciate it if you put the cushions inside the tents when you go to bed.
11. Please fill in the honesty list that lays next to the fridge. We have an honesty system for the drinks. You are most welcome to take anything from our beverage cooler and coffee machine.
12. Please do not consume your own food and drinks at the Farmstall or pool area. Of course, you can consume the food and drinks that are available at the Farmstall.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
