1 Double and Twin available for homestay guests with Mirror, Hair-dryer, and Closet / Wardrobe. WiFi throughout the house, warm swimming pool and outside entertainment area, comfortable communal lounge and dining room.
We really enjoy learning about foreign cultures and cooking. We love meeting guests of all ages from all corners of the world.
Cheryl is 56 and enjoys cooking, watching movies, music gigs, festivals, reading, photography, socializing, learning about other cultures, television, gardening, nature, board games, and car, motorbike racing. She speaks English
Double room has en-suite bathroom (shower, basin, toilet). Twin/Single room share a full bathroom (shower and separate bath, basin, toilet)
The room rate includes the following services: regular weekly room cleaning and change of linen, basic help yourself breakfast of cereal, toast and condiments as well as a plate of food for dinner, un-capped internet access, communal Dstv.

Collection from Cape Town International airport is an additional charge. as we run a shuttle and tour service we offer at an additional costs tours in and around the Peninsular, safari, wine tasting and deep sea fishing.

As soon as you complete your booking and pay your deposit online you will get an email with our exact address. I can help you then with exact directions as soon as you let me know how you will be arriving. My house is very easy to find in Steynsrust.

Please keep our home secure and lock the front door when entering and leaving the house.
Smoking allowed outside under the lapa or on the deck.
The kitchen to be kept tidy, dishes either washed with dish soap and packed away or placed into the dishwasher.
Please do not invite strangers into our home; Visitors are welcome if introduced.
Please do not adjust the heat settings on the geyser yourself, ask me and I will happily do it for you.
Respect our possessions and ask before helping yourself.
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight please

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
